Dr. Charles F. Lomax Jr serves as the Director of Community Empowerment for the City of Knoxville and is the Pastor of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Alcoa. Driven by a love for people and a commitment to community, he strives to serve in whatever ways possible to help people meet their maximum potential. Dr. Lomax sits on a number of boards representing a wide assortment of community engagement, and is most passionate about seeing Knoxville become a better, more equitable city where all would want to live, work and play.
