Josh Buckner earned a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree in Microbiology from East Tennessee State University prior to receiving his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the Pastor of Missions and Outreach at Shoreline Church in Knoxville, TN, where he has served for four years forming relationships with both local and global individuals and organizations in order to provide opportunities for people to serve and influence their city and the world. 

While spending time in various countries, Josh was exposed to the poor living conditions that are a harsh reality for many people throughout the world. As a result, he has developed a deep passion to see that all people understand their intrinsic value and have access to basic needs. Josh and his wife, Meredith, reside in Hardin Valley, TN with their two children, Judah and Mary Chandler. In his spare time, Josh enjoys good food and the outdoors.
