Dean Parker is the coordinator of Legacy Housing Foundation’s Good Times Program. He has served Knoxville’s affordable housing community in this role since August of 2016. As of November 2018, Mr. Parker and his staff, comprised mostly of volunteers, have put on in excess of 200 Good Times events at affordable housing communities throughout Knoxville and the surrounding area. Anyone that knows him also knows of the love he has for the residents that he and his team serve.

Mr. Parker’s career in the service industry goes back to his high school days when he loaded cars at the world’s first and Atlanta’s original Home Depot store #1. It was during this time that he realized the joy that comes with helping and serving others.

After serving in the Marine Corps from 1987-1991, he went on to earn his degree from Chattahoochee Tech in Atlanta where he graduated with honors. A life-long athlete, he has completed in excess of 30 triathlons including 2 Ironman races and is also an avid golfer. Mr. Parker resides in Knoxville, TN.
